My name is Kaoru Seki, and I am a Master's student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), pursuing Human-Centered Computing. I have a background in Business Technology Administration and a passion for understanding the ways technology can serve people better.

Through my journey from learning English as an international student to diving into user experience research, I've cultivated a deep interest in creating accessible, human-centered design solutions. My current research focuses on leveraging generative AI to empower marginalized entrepreneurs, ensuring that technology meets diverse community needs.
